Parameters

  • name (optional): Used to display an alternative caption if country is left blank.
  • type (optional): Accepts values W for women's teams and M for men's. Defaults to M for backwards compatibility.
  • Badge (optional): Team's logo image or No image.png.
  • Badge_size (optional): Image size. Defaults to 100px.
  • Nickname (optional)

  • Assistant coach
  • Captain (optional): Team captain.
  • Most caps (optional): Player with most matches. Indicate name and number of matches, e.g. [[Name]] (200).
  • Most goals (optional): Team's topscorer. Indicate name and number of goals, e.g. [[Name]] (1000).
  • Ranking (optional): Team's international ranking by the IHF.
  • Points (optional): Team's international ranking points by the IHF.
  • Summer Olympics apps (optional): Number of times the team has participated in Summer Olympic Games.
  • Summer Olympics first (optional): Year of first participation. Use only the year, the link will be automatically created.
  • Summer Olympics best (optional): Best result. Should be linked, e.g. [[Handball at the 2008 Summer Olympics|2008]].
  • World cup apps (optional): Number of times the team has participated in World Championship.
  • World cup first (optional): Year of first participation. Use only the year, the link will be automatically created based on the value of type (men/women).
  • World cup best (optional): Best result. Should be linked, e.g. [[1999 World Women's Handball Championship|1999]].
  • Regional name (optional): If the team participates in a regional championship, use this parameter to display its name. Can be linked if appropriate, e.g. [[European Women's Handball Championship|European Championship]].
  • Regional cup apps (optional): Number of times the team has participated in their regional championship.
  • Regional cup first (optional): Year of first participation. Should be linked.
  • Regional cup best (optional): Best result. Should be linked.
  • updated: Indicate the day the infobox was last updated.
Colours

This template uses {{Handball kit}}, based on {{Football kit}}, to display home and away colours. See documentation and pattern examples in the latter.

  • pattern_la1, pattern_b1, pattern_ra1, pattern_sh1: Use one of the available pattern names, e.g. _white_stripes.
  • leftarm1, body1, rightarm1, shorts1: Indicate a colour value without a leading #.
