File:Edit-copy green.svg | This is a documentation subpage for Template:Oscars short description. It contains usage information, categories and other content that is not part of the original template page. |
Usage
This template will add a short description for Academy Awards ceremony articles. This ensures a consistency in short descriptions between articles, and allows for the short descriptions for all articles to be changed at once.
This template takes two optional year parameters, for the year or years that eligible films were released: films-year and films-year2. For most Awards ceremonies only films-year will be necessary.
Changing the short descriptions by editing this template is encouraged, but exercise caution, as this template is used on all Academy Awards ceremony pages. If you are unsure how to edit this template safely, feel free to leave a request on the talk page, and someone will make the edit for you.
