An Infobox athletics race may be used to summarise information about a particular race (athletic).
Usage
The infobox may be added by pasting the template as shown below into an article. Only the date and location parameters
are required. For an example, see Dallas White Rock Marathon.

- assigned competition category used in Olympic qualification and rankings, from World Athletics

- primary sponsor of the event
- beneficiary
- main beneficiary of the event
- est
- date established
- edition
- number of times event has been held
- record
- course record
- homepage
- official homepage
- participants
- typical number of runners each year
- previous
- link to immediate previous event
- next
- link to next time event is held
- current
- enter Yes to auto populate a link to this year's competition (based on the current year and the page title)
